Welcome to our third annual top progressive metal albums! This year’s list may have been our hardest to compile as we easily found many albums that we absolutely loved but didn’t quite make our top 50. As usual, this year had a lot of great albums from some of the most well-known bands in the genre (Symphony X, Subsignal, Vanden Plas, BTBAM, Periphery, etc.) but also a ton of obscurities that range all over the progressive metal spectrum.
